Estimates and pricing
- Is the estimate really free?
- Yes. Our Project Consultant visits the property, looks at the surfaces, talks through colors and scope, and you receive a professional written estimate. There is no charge and no obligation.
- What does the written estimate cover?
- The scope of work and the proposed timeline. Preparation, primer, number of coats, products, sheen and cleanup are spelled out for your project, because they vary from one job to the next.
- Do you offer financing?
- Yes. Full Color Painting offers financing through Wisetack. Checking your options takes about a minute and does not affect your credit score. Details are on the Financing page.
- How soon will I hear back?
- We’ll call or text you the same business day to discuss your project and schedule your estimate.
Interior painting
- How do you prepare a room before painting?
- Protection of floors and furnishings, removal of outlet and switch covers, patching and sanding, and masking for clean lines are the usual steps. Which apply to your rooms, and who moves what, is described in your estimate.
- Can I stay in the house during an interior job?
- Tell our Project Consultant whether you will remain at home during the work. Access, the work sequence and any customer responsibilities are described in your estimate.
Exterior painting
- How do you prepare exterior surfaces?
- Depending on the surface and its condition: washing, scraping loose paint, sanding, repairing cracks, priming bare areas and caulking gaps. Your estimate lists the preparation for your home.
- What paint do you use outside?
- Exterior coatings chosen for the surface and its exposure. The products and sheen for your project are specified in your estimate.
Commercial painting
- Can you paint while my business stays open?
- Tell our Project Consultant about operating hours and access requirements. Whether the business can stay open depends on the work; the agreed plan is described in your estimate.
- What kinds of commercial properties do you paint?
- Restaurants, retail spaces, offices and rental properties across Gainesville, Florida and surrounding areas, inside and out.
Scheduling
- How long will my project take?
- It depends on the size of the job, the surfaces and the weather for exterior work. Your estimate includes a proposed timeline for your project.
- Who is on site during the work?
- A painting crew, with the project overseen by our Production Manager. When the work is complete, we review the finished job with you.
